This is a traditional Moldovan recipe. The ingredients vary depending on how many pies the cook wants to make.
– 500 grams of flour
– 250 ml of milk
– yeast
– 3 eggs
– 60 grams of butter
– 90 grams of sugar
– salt
Ingredients for the filling:
– 350 grams of cottage cheese
– 150 grams of sugar
– 2 medium-sized eggs
Sift the flour, add the yeast, mix, and knead the dough until it reaches the right consistency. Add the other ingredients. The oven should be well-heated, but not too hot. Some flour is thrown into the oven to check when it’s the right temperature to put in the pies.
