“Răcituri” – Moldovan jellied meat

Jellied meat is a typical Moldovan dish made from chicken, turkey, or pork.

 

Ingredients:

– Pork meat: feet and head, boiled for 2-3 hours

– Vegetables: carrots, onions, garlic

– Salt to taste

 

Preparation:

The pork meat should be thoroughly washed to remove all blood. Cut it into nice-looking pieces and place them in a pot. Add water to cover the meat by one or two fingers. When it boils, remove the foam and add the vegetables. Preparation can take almost three hours. Near the end, add a clove of garlic. Pour the mixture into deep bowls and leave it overnight.
